Dear TAS Family,

As we close out another memorable year, we’re proud to reflect on the milestones, traditions, and community spirit that continue to make our alumni association so special. Here’s a look back at what we accomplished together in 2025:

TASA San Antonio Reunion

Our reunion at the Riverfront InterContinental Hotel was a resounding success! Alumni gathered to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate. A special tribute was paid to classmates marking their 50th graduation anniversary, honoring their legacy and lifelong connection to TASA.  Find out more about this remarkable reunion.

Membership Drive – Win A Persian Gift Box!

This year’s membership drive exceeded expectations! Thanks to your dues and generosity:

  • One lucky member won a big box stuffed full of Persian food items, a Word Cloud T-shirt, and a Persian Cookbook.  See what was inside the gift box.
  • The reunion hospitality suite was fully stocked.
  • Donated funds were matched to provide a free drink for every attendee at Friday night’s BBQ.
  • Our website continues to thrive as a hub for alumni news and updates.

Your support keeps TASA strong and connected.

Commemorative Coins

We proudly launched our first round of commemorative coins, a tradition we plan to carry forward. These coins are gifted to alumni upon reaching their 50th graduation anniversary. Members who had already celebrated this milestone received their coins by mail this year. A timeless keepsake of TASA pride!

Supporting Texas & Stepping Into the Future

In the spirit of giving back, TASA contributed to three incredible organizations providing relief after the Texas floods:

  • The Cajun Army
  • TEXSAR
  • Southern Oaks Church

Their tireless work in supporting communities in need reflects the values we hold dear as an alumni family.

Looking Ahead

From reunions to traditions, and from supporting each other to uplifting our communities, TASA continues to grow stronger each year. Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we honor our past while stepping boldly into the future.

We wish you Tatilat Mobarak and a Nowruz Mobarak,

Julie Secord Williams, TASA President
Paula Austin, TASA Administrator
